 This is a prescribed course approved by the New York City Department of Buildings that can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training (SST) card. This is awareness level training only and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.

The course is designed to meet DOB NYC requirements and aims to raise awareness among students about alcohol and drug use and its adverse effects on construction sites as a leading factor in workplace accidents. The training provides guidelines for recognizing, avoiding, and preventing potential substance use disorders in construction workers.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive an 2-hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness certificate on your SST card.
