1-Hour Health & Safety Programs in Construction

This course is a specialized elective approved by the New York City Department of Buildings that can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training (SST) card. This is awareness level training only and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.

To continue to operate in the City of New York, the designated construction worker is required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and to carry site safety identification cards as proof of completion of the training (As per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’). This course provides one hour towards the satisfaction of that requirement.

Even if you're not a "safety pro" you can do it! This training will cover everything from, how to become a safety leader to the successful results you can expect to achieve, and what impact safety culture can make on your overall safety program. We'll also explore effective strategies and communication tips for managing resistant employees and promoting a safety culture at all levels of your organization.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a 1-hour Health & Safety Programs in Construction certificate on your SST card.
