This course is a specialized elective approved by the New York City Department of Buildings that can help fulfill the requirement for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training (SST) card. This is awareness level training only and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.

This course is based on OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.146 Confined Space Entry Standard.

Confined space entry training explains what constitutes a permit-required and non-permit-required confined space, providing parameters for identifying hazards to your safety and that of those around you.

It also describes the responsibilities of personnel involved in confined space work, including safe work procedures and rescue and emergency services.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a 1-hour Confined Space certificate on your SST card.
